EAU DE COLOGNE

Fragrances, aromas and colognes are as old as humanity.

The Egyptians, especially the women, used to use perfumed oils.
In Ancient Greece, beauty and aesthetics were almost deified and often considered to be the result of precious oils, ointments and fragrances which enhanced beauty in general, not necessarily just feminine beauty.

During Roman times, with the utmost in ostentation in the palaces, all kinds of oils and fragrances were widely used. They were used in religious celebrations, at weddings and funerals, and not only the buildings were perfumed but, at times, also the animals.

The advent of Eau de Cologne came much later. In fact , the first examples of rosewater were made in the Middle Ages, whose production techniques were then refined during the Renaissance period. The result was eau de cologne made out of lots of flowers, plants and musk, which was considered to be a real weapon of seduction.

To make the Eau de Cologne range, the company was inspired mainly by the original fragrances, creating Eau de Cologne for women with the fragrance of rose and Eau de Cologne for men with the fragrance of Vetiver.
Rigorously delicate and alcohol-free, they allow for long-lasting freshness and wellbeing.
